By public transport
The most convenient railway station to travel to is Amsterdam CS. From there, you can take trams 9,16,24,25. Get out at ‘Spui’ (the 2nd stop from Amsterdam CS) and take a left (cross the street), and enter the narrow street with jewelry shops (Grimburgwal). Continue straight on until the street makes a sharp bend to the left onto the Oudezijdsachterburgwal. Follow the bend and immediately take a right into the gate (the Oudemanhuispoort). The courtyard of the Faculty of Law is at 40m on your left hand side.
